The topic of "using cosmetics for a long time or increasing the risk of breast cancer" often hits hot searches.

In daily life, when a woman takes a bath, she may occasionally touch a small piece in her breast, and panic after thinking about it... Is this small piece really breast cancer? How can we start to self check breast cancer as soon as possible?

1 what are the signs of breast cancer?

(1) Nipple changes

In the early stage of breast cancer, there may be cancer near the nipple. The nipple is often pulled up, and the height of the nipple on both sides is different. Important signs such as nipple invagination may also occur.

(2) There is a lump in the breast

Intramammary mass is the main manifestation of early symptoms of breast cancer, most of which occur in the outer upper part of the breast. In particular, attention should be paid to the breast masses in adult women.

(3) Breast pain

In the early stage of breast cancer, there is basically no pain or itch, and no obvious pain. But in the late stage, the pain is more obvious, mostly paroxysmal tingling and dull pain.

(4) Nipple discharge

Nipple discharge is also one of the symptoms of breast cancer. The discharge is mostly colorless, milky white, light yellow, brown, bloody, etc. it may also be water like, blood like, serous purulent. In this case, it is recommended to seek medical examination immediately.

(5) Breast skin changes

Most of the skin changes in breast cancer are "dimples like" depressions, or orange peel like changes.

Will breast nodules develop into breast cancer?

Breast nodules are a common problem in clinical practice. Many patients inadvertently find that they have something on their chest, and they feel nervous at once. In fact, most breast nodules are benign. Clinically, only 4% ~ 10% of breast nodules are malignant.

Similarly, it does not mean that a nodule will become breast cancer sooner or later. This is also a score for benign and malignant nodules. We should do some examinations accordingly, such as B-ultrasound and molybdenum target X-ray examination that we often do.

3 what are the conditions or groups of people prone to breast cancer?

(1) The incidence rate of middle-aged and old women is higher than that of young women.

(2) The early menarche age, the late menopause age, the late infertility and the first full-term birth age are all related to the incidence of breast cancer.

(3) The risk of breast cancer among the first-degree relatives is 2-3 times that of the general population.

(4) Excess nutrition, obesity and fat diet can strengthen or prolong the stimulation of estrogen on mammary epithelial cells, thus increasing the chance of disease.

(5) Smoking and drinking alcohol have been shown to increase the risk of breast cancer!

4 is it true that long-term use of inferior cosmetics can easily induce breast cancer?

The occurrence of breast cancer is closely related to the estrogen level in our body. In other words, the more estrogen affects our body, the greater the risk of breast cancer.

However, in some health care products, nutrition products and low-quality cosmetics we usually use, if the quality is not up to standard, they may contain excessive estrogen. If they are used for a long time, it will greatly increase the incidence rate of breast cancer.

5 how to conduct breast self-examination to find breast problems early?

As we mentioned earlier, intramammary mass is the main manifestation of early symptoms of breast cancer. Naturally, our self-examination starts from here.

(1) Hard or not

Usually, soft nodules are more likely to be benign, while hard nodules are more likely to be malignant.

(2) Slippery

Generally speaking, the nodules with clear edges and regular contours are more likely to be benign, and the malignant ones with unclear boundaries may be relatively large. At the same time, if the nodule can move around, it may be benign; otherwise, it may be malignant.

(3) Is it long

Generally, those that grow slowly or do not grow are benign. Malignancies tend to grow relatively quickly.

Breast nodules occur from time to time in our life, but it is really far from cancer. Don't panic when encountering this situation. Only with a good attitude and an active and healthy life will it be more helpful to us.
