Recently, when we walked into the maitake planting base of Beijing Haijiang Edible Fungi Co., Ltd. in Heishanzhai Village, Yanshou Town, Changping District, Beijing, clusters of maitakes were blooming and growing happily. Workers were busy picking the fresh mushrooms and preparing to send them to major supermarkets in downtown Beijing.
It is understood that this year, the "off-season maitake cultivation" of the base was successful for the first time, which made Beijing citizens late for the off-season maitake cultivation for the first time.
In 2012, Zhang Haijiang established the Beijing Haijiang Grey Tree Flower Production and Marketing Cooperative, which integrates the grey tree flower planting households in Heishanzhai area, and becomes a cooperative integrating the production, processing, packaging and sales of grey tree flowers, radiating the entire Yanshou Town. Since its establishment, the cooperative has been constantly pioneering and innovating. With the Beijing Agricultural Technology Popularization Station, it has successively tested and planted 14 strains of Grifola frondosa with different nutritional materials. Among them, 4 strains have excellent mushroom quality, and their mushroom types and yields exceed those of conventional strains. Good experimental results have been achieved.
Next, the base will expand the planting scale, increase a variety of edible fungus varieties, expand sales channels, and strengthen the local edible fungus industry through online and offline methods.
